Workplace Training FAQs
1. How much does group training cost?
Group pricing is customized based on the course, number of participants, location, scheduling, and training requirements. Complete our Group Training Quote form and we'll provide a customized quote for your organization. We typically respond to Group Training Quote requests within one business day. If we need additional information to prepare an accurate quote, we'll contact you directly.
2. Do you provide training at our location?
Yes. Hearts Matter provides on-site training for businesses, healthcare facilities, schools, nonprofit organizations, churches, and other workplaces throughout our service area. We bring the training equipment and materials needed for your course.
3. What is your service area?
Hearts Matter is based in Lexington and provides on-site training throughout Central Kentucky and beyond. If you are unsure whether we travel to your area, submit a quote request—we may be closer than you think!
4. How many can you train?
We can accommodate both small and large groups. Larger groups may be divided into multiple sessions or supported by additional instructors to maintain a high-quality, hands-on training experience.
5. How long does training take?
Course length depends on the course selected, group size, and training format. Most CPR, First Aid, and BLS programs can be completed within several hours. ACLS and PALS training may require additional time. We will help you select a format and schedule that works for your organization.
6. Can different employees take different courses?
Absolutely. We can help develop a training plan based on the needs of your team.Your workplace isn't one-size-fits-all, and your training doesn't have to be either. For example, clinical staff may require BLS while administrative or nonclinical employees may need CPR/AED and First Aid. When appropriate, Hearts Matter can provide hands-on skills sessions for employees completing eligible American Heart Association blended-learning courses. This can be a convenient option for organizations that need greater scheduling flexibility.
7. What if I'm not sure which course our employees need?
That's okay! Tell us about your organization and who needs training. We'll help you determine which training option best fits your team's needs.
8. Can you help us with recurring training and employee renewals?
Yes. Hearts Matter can work with organizations that have ongoing training needs, including new employees, certification renewals, and recurring group training. Our goal is to make maintaining a prepared and properly trained workforce easier.
9. What's included in on - site training?
We provide the instructors, training equipment, course materials as applicable, hands-on skills practice and assessment, and American Heart Association certification eCards for successfully completed certification courses.
10. Can Hearts Matter help with our AED program?
Yes. In addition to CPR/AED training, Hearts Matter can help organizations with AED equipment and ongoing AED program management. Ask us about incorporating AED readiness into your workplace preparedness plan.
