  • Content: Emphasizes immediate recognition and treatment of ACS and STEMI.  Defintion of ACS. Distinction of STEMI from ECG mimics of STEMI. Includes the following self assessments: Naming the Leads, Regions of the Heart, Measuring ST deviation and Correlating Regional Changes. Contains dynamic ECG Scope to measure ST deviation.

  • Content: Expansion on the AHA stroke algorithm. Review of the 7 Ds of stroke survival.  Definitions of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. Stroke pathophysiology, risk factors, recognition and management.  Appropriate transition to critical care and rehabilitation.
